Highly recommend for solo travellers, or those travelling to Bali for the first time.
I joined the 5-day Pure Active Fitness Holiday with Balinese culture Experience retreat. The host Agie was amazing. She basically organised everything for you (from the daily yoga/ fitness classes to rice field trekking and cycling, plus sessions of Balinese massage! – all included in the price) On top of that, she is a very good yoga instructor too, with positive energy all the time!
The resort is about 30mins drive away from Ubud centre but there is free shuttle bus service to on request.
The premier room that I stayed in was spacious and relatively new. The restaurant serves good quality Indonesian and Western food.
Overall, a 10/10 experience!

An Unforgettable Bali Yoga Retreat During Nyepi

I had the most incredible experience at this Bali yoga retreat, made even more special by being there during Nyepi, Bali’s sacred Day of Silence. The retreat beautifully blended yoga, mindfulness, and cultural immersion, creating an experience that was both rejuvenating and deeply enriching.

Our guide, Agie, was absolutely phenomenal. She anticipated every need within the group, ensuring we felt supported and at ease throughout the retreat. Her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made everything effortless and enjoyable. Whether guiding us through local customs, arranging stunning excursions, or simply sharing stories about Balinese traditions, Agie truly enhanced our journey.

Experiencing Nyepi in Bali was magical—an opportunity to disconnect from the world and connect with ourselves. The silence, the stillness, and the energy of the island during this time made our yoga practice even more profound.

Every aspect of the retreat—from the serene setting to the nourishing meals—was perfectly curated to provide relaxation and cultural depth. If you’re looking for a yoga retreat that goes beyond the physical practice and immerses you in the heart of Bali, this is the one. I can’t recommend it enough!

I recently did (solo) the 5-day Fitness and Culture Escape with OneFit Wellness, and it was a truly memorable experience. I arrived looking for a ‘reset’ from daily life, and the program delivered exactly that – blending a stunning resort setting with a perfect balance of high-intensity fitness, restorative massages, and immersive cultural activities.

The heart of the experience was our host, Agie. Her warmth and attention to detail were unmatched; she expertly guided us through workouts and local excursions while ensuring every personal need was met. I can’t thank Agie enough for the entire experience. In terms of yoga, she’s a professional and highly experienced yoga teacher. The class was tailored to my preference and ability. She guided me to push my limits without being harsh, which I greatly appreciated. I didn’t realize I could do so much more than I thought while feeling completely safe. Honestly I wish I could be her regular student😊

Beyond her profession, she’s honest, genuine and a good listener. We had deep conversations and her soul searching questions helped me reflect on myself, which is a meaningful bonus during this retreat.

Although the resort is shared by other guests who are not participants of the retreat, it is peaceful and calming. The location is perfect as I want tranquility and being away from the city life. It’s surrounded by a lovely village and rice fields. I love being accompanied by the sounds of nature every minute of my stay, and I could even see the beautiful volcano Agung from my room.

The villagers and the hotel staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly as well. One of the villagers even invited me to their house, and explained the meaning of different parts of their Balinese house.

This retreat gave me memories to last a lifetime. My heart is full. Thank you Agie for creating this beautiful journey❤️
